Kiosk Computer Games with Arduino – Cybershock Event, Singapore

Appbition was asked to develop 5 computer games to simulate the effects of a cyberattack on five essential services in Singapore — financial, telecommunications, power and public transport.

The Cybershock games are linked via arduino to a LEGO city built from over 160,000 LEGO parts. Touch screens enable participants to play their part in helping to defend against these attacks — correct / incorrect answers to quiz questions in the game show up as green/red blinky lights within the LEGO city.

These games were featured at the GovernmentWare 2013, Singapore (1 – 3 Oct) and NSCS’s “Let’s Stand Together” campaign at Suntec City (4 – 6 Oct) to raise public awareness that national security also encompasses cybersecurity.
